The world of the Kingdom of Malinas is set in Aldenland. Find out more about the places and inhabitants of this land here!

Not a lot is known about the Barbarians. They are a race from the North of Aldenland but have not been seen since the Elani of Solmerro fled from them hundreds of years ago.
Elani are an earthy folk, happy to farm the land. They have no currency and trade goods instead. Each Elani is born with three star-shaped birthmarks under their right eye. They are generally a peaceble race. Elani do not take family names. When they die, they believe that they go to the Golden Valley.
The Lamya are a sister race to the Elani. They do not have the star marks and tend to prefer the bustle of town life. Lamya folk can be more suspicious than Elani and find it difficult to trust. They use currency and rarely trade goods for goods. Lamya have a more elaborate sense of dress than the Elani. They are great builders.
Sarkany are dragons in human form they are not native of Aldenland but travel there when they have a person to serve. They have eyes that show no white and thick black hair. When in their dragon form they are blood red. They can live hundreds of years.

Malinas is a region in the North of Aldenland. Once it was made up entirely of moorland and rolling green hills, the only inhabitants were Lamya drifters. Then the Elani came from the Kingdom of Solmerro, after being harried for years by the Barbarians. King Nodin and his three brothers led his people there to build a new Kingdom. Shortly after the Elani settled into their new home, the Lamya attacked and ousted the Elani, killing the King and his three brothers. The Lamya isolated themselves in the Kingdom, cutting off all trade from the rest of Aldenland. The Elani were forced to hide in the Vale south of the towns and soon only the four towns - North-Town, South-Town, East-Town and West-Town - were known as the 'Kingdom of Malinas'.
Other places in Malinas include Oaken Wood, the moorland, the Vale, River Pinn, Hlynn Valley and Silence Gorge.
Langshire is a Lamya dominated region to the West of Malinas. Made up of many Lamya towns including Elmstown, Cambersford and Langston.
Cadmus is an Eastern region of Aldenland, famous for the village of Moor where the best Elani Warriors are trained. A large portion of Cadmus is made up of meadowland. Trelamin Forest and River Pinn are also in Cadmus.
Bramshire is the region that lies South of Malinas. It is a populous Elani region full of Traders who deal with the Elani of the Vale. The Bram River runs through the region. Other places in Bramshire are Bramleaze and Ollingash.
The Midori is a region of Aldenland despite being a major mountain range. It is full of rolling green mountains and little else. There is an area North of the mountains known as the Range through which runs the Stour River.
